Kulungi Riverside Lodge
Kulungi Riverside Lodge is situated on the banks of the Olifant’s River. Kulungi is also situated in the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve consisting of 3000ha which in turn is part of the Balule Game Reserve (40 000ha) and forms part of the “Greater Kruger National Park”. This means that we are open to all the Kruger National Park’s animals. Kulungi is frequently visited by numerous animals and, in fact, have some resident animals which include Leopard, Bushbuck, Impala, Waterbuck, Warthog, Baboons and Vervet monkeys. Four of the Big Five namely, Elephant, Lion, Cape Buffalo and Leopard visit regularly, excluding the Rhino which is very territorial and does not come around.
